margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173752703877148.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="462" height="455" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>彼時(shí)建筑學(xué)專業(yè)課程也在同步進(jìn)行，我再次感到前所未有的對(duì)繼續(xù)本專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)的逃避和升學(xué)的巨大壓力，開始在半夜睡不著，不停的搜索各種相關(guān)信息。但越搜索，我越發(fā)覺，可能繼續(xù)本專業(yè)（建筑相關(guān)）的學(xué)習(xí)，對(duì)于我來說只是更多沉沒成本的投入，自己本人主觀意愿和客觀因素下，都不希望再繼續(xù)讀建筑相關(guān)專業(yè)了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>于是我開始在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)瘋狂檢索轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè)的方向，最后發(fā)現(xiàn)各方面比較符合我預(yù)期的都是跨申海碩這一條路。在這期間，我主要是對(duì)比了國內(nèi)跨考，直接工作和留學(xué)跨申這三種選擇。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>1</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>國內(nèi)跨考難度不小，風(fēng)險(xiǎn)指數(shù)太高，一旦失敗風(fēng)險(xiǎn)對(duì)于我來說是難以承擔(dān)的：意味著大概率需要gap/重考準(zhǔn)備一年，但建筑學(xué)五年的本科時(shí)間本就讓我晚就業(yè)一年，因此這一個(gè)選擇被我pass掉。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>2</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>接著是直接工作，其實(shí)周圍的同學(xué)也有個(gè)別會(huì)選擇直接工作，但以我當(dāng)時(shí)的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備情況來看，建筑類工作是大概率的結(jié)果，但這與我自身興趣意愿不符合，加上建筑行業(yè)近幾年持續(xù)走低，如果需要跨行，相關(guān)實(shí)習(xí)/技術(shù)我又每一項(xiàng)都不具備，意味著還是需要時(shí)間成本去學(xué)習(xí)，壓力太大，gap風(fēng)險(xiǎn)也很大，因此最后也pass。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>3</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最后綜合評(píng)估下來，跨申海外的其他專業(yè)似乎是當(dāng)下最理想的選擇，因?yàn)樯暾?qǐng)是有保底校的，同時(shí)國內(nèi)對(duì)于跨申這部分有更多更友好的項(xiàng)目，學(xué)制更短，最后市場就業(yè)認(rèn)可度也不錯(cuò)。因此，跨申留學(xué)成為了我的主要方向。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>高效完成港英聯(lián)申</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在決定跨申的那一瞬間，我承認(rèn)那是我大學(xué)五年期間感到最有目標(biāo)，有動(dòng)力的階段，到那時(shí)，我才發(fā)現(xiàn)，原來人為了自己喜歡，感興趣的東西去努力是一件很快樂的事，興趣本身會(huì)推動(dòng)你不自覺地去努力，所謂累并快樂，就是這個(gè)感覺。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在決定跨申后，我就通過社交平臺(tái)發(fā)帖的方式初步了解到了一些更詳細(xì)的信息，<span style="color: #0086d1;">當(dāng)時(shí)有許多學(xué)姐學(xué)長推薦北美的2年制轉(zhuǎn)碼項(xiàng)目</span>，項(xiàng)目本身課程設(shè)置非常好，但是費(fèi)用相對(duì)來講會(huì)更高。在和指南者老師的交流溝通下，我逐漸了解到港英也有很多轉(zhuǎn)碼/跨申項(xiàng)目，學(xué)制一年，學(xué)費(fèi)也遠(yuǎn)沒有北美貴，認(rèn)可度也不錯(cuò)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>同時(shí)，顧問老師對(duì)于不同院校、不同項(xiàng)目的往屆錄取信息和錄取偏好也非常了解，還給我提供了很多往年的就業(yè)去向信息，使得我這個(gè)時(shí)候就對(duì)幾乎大部分的跨申方向有了一個(gè)比較全面、清晰的了解。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>例如中國香港是我的主要申請(qǐng)地區(qū)，但是港校開放非常早，9月初甚至更早的也有，而我是23年初才開始著手準(zhǔn)備所有的材料（語言，刷分等），時(shí)間非常緊急，所以我希望申請(qǐng)老師能是一個(gè)對(duì)時(shí)間節(jié)點(diǎn)規(guī)劃比較嚴(yán)密的人，并且我需要老師多提醒我ddl，多push我。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173752703922971.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="671" height="427" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在準(zhǔn)備申請(qǐng)資料的過程中，兩位老師的高效、準(zhǔn)時(shí)、精準(zhǔn)也都讓我印象深刻。簽約后李麗娟老師就很快約了我進(jìn)行在線會(huì)議的溝通，為我后續(xù)的申請(qǐng)準(zhǔn)備制定了方案。<span style="color: #0086d1;">另外，我的個(gè)人簡歷在三月剛返校時(shí)，李老師就和我一起修改好了，這極大程度方便了我能盡早找實(shí)習(xí)這件事。</span>并且在完成了個(gè)人簡歷的中文版后，很快我也收到了我的CV初稿。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>有一段時(shí)間我的課設(shè)和備考雅思同時(shí)進(jìn)行，在這個(gè)過程中還需要完成PS初稿撰寫，李老師對(duì)我的那段時(shí)間的學(xué)習(xí)情況非常了解，主動(dòng)關(guān)心我當(dāng)時(shí)的各項(xiàng)任務(wù)進(jìn)度，并且給了規(guī)劃調(diào)整好了后續(xù)的任務(wù)ddl。在完成PS初稿后，文書老師也和我緊接著前前后后改了非常多次，但每一次我提交修改反饋，李閨秀老師都能在一周內(nèi)給我修改后的版本，從來不會(huì)拖延。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我原本以為跨專業(yè)申請(qǐng)，加之我因?yàn)闆Q定匆忙，其實(shí)沒有太多精彩的項(xiàng)目經(jīng)歷（軟背景較為缺乏），這些因素會(huì)使我的文書撰寫變得比較麻煩，但實(shí)際上，兩位老師會(huì)幫助我在既有的項(xiàng)目經(jīng)歷上深挖，與我的申請(qǐng)方向靠攏，整個(gè)過程高效又順利。我最后也如期在8月底完成了所有文書的準(zhǔn)備工作。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>放棄港大、曼大選擇華威</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在最后的院校選擇上，我也經(jīng)歷了好幾次改變。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最初，我最理想的院校和項(xiàng)目是港中文的智慧城市項(xiàng)目，以往年的錄取數(shù)據(jù)來看，我的自身?xiàng)l件是有希望的，<span style="color: #0086d1;">但是在24fall的申請(qǐng)中，錄取的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)突然提高了（幾乎只收985和海本），因此被拒了。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這一封拒信當(dāng)時(shí)對(duì)我的打擊很大，但也正是因?yàn)檫@一封拒信，讓我更加堅(jiān)定跨專業(yè)的想法，或許之前的想法是在建筑的交叉學(xué)科方向，但越到后期，我越希望去和本專業(yè)不相關(guān)的專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)一些更技術(shù)方面的知識(shí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>于是在同期，我在已經(jīng)完成好的文書基礎(chǔ)上做了一些修改，自己遞交了部分英國院校的申請(qǐng)，這里面大部分專業(yè)都是和本專業(yè)不太相關(guān)的（例如big data）或是偏數(shù)據(jù)處理的交叉方向（例如gis, ua），英國的項(xiàng)目選擇確實(shí)更多，這其中就包括我現(xiàn)在在讀的專業(yè)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173752704146794.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="414" height="367" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其中比較值得一提的是曼大的gis，其實(shí)在提交申請(qǐng)大約10天后我就自查系統(tǒng)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己被放到了waitlist里，有一點(diǎn)失望但因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)我的目標(biāo)已經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)閷W(xué)自己喜歡的專業(yè)更重要，gis并不在我的各項(xiàng)興趣范圍內(nèi)，因此后續(xù)我沒有再關(guān)注了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/173752704174045.jpg?watermark/1/image/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvLmNvbXBhc3NlZHUuaGsvd2F0ZXJtYXJrMS5wbmc=/dissolve/100/gravity/SouthEast/dx/0/dy/0/ws/0.25/wst/2" alt="" width="550" height="464" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但卻在一月中旬突然收到了曼大的offer，感覺過程也是比較波折和戲劇化，因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)也有問一些收到offer同學(xué)的bg，普遍都是985/211、GPA85+的，沒有想到自己會(huì)被曼大撈上來。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最后在offer的選擇上，我其實(shí)沒有太多的猶豫，我依然覺得，每個(gè)人都需要想清楚自己為什么要留學(xué)，或者說留學(xué)是為了什么，我自己對(duì)于留學(xué)的目標(biāo)在整個(gè)準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)的過程中是逐漸清晰和堅(jiān)定的：<span style="color: #0086d1;">我就是想以風(fēng)險(xiǎn)最小的方式轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè)，并且希望在學(xué)歷貶值的大環(huán)境下，能盡快參加工作。</span>所以哪怕后續(xù)收到了QS排名更高的港大的和曼大的offer（建筑學(xué)相關(guān)/地理信息科學(xué)），我也沒有糾結(jié)太多，依然選擇了華威。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在我看來，英聯(lián)邦地區(qū)的留學(xué)最重要的一定是院校背景＋GPA/均分（理工科類），同時(shí)專業(yè)的匹配度也很重要，而對(duì)于部分跨申友好的專業(yè)來說，除了盡量增加與跨申方向相關(guān)的經(jīng)歷以外（如果有時(shí)間），如何在ps中體現(xiàn)你的轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè)動(dòng)機(jī)可能比較重要。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>整體來講，英國地區(qū)24fall的跨申感覺并沒有想象中那么難，與23fall相差并不大，<span style="color: #0086d1;">但香港地區(qū)明顯能感覺到24fall比23fall 更難了</span>。特別是港中文智慧城市為例，這一類偏技術(shù)向的專業(yè)卷了很多；同樣情況的還有港理的碳中和專業(yè)，這個(gè)專業(yè)在23fall時(shí)叫可持續(xù)城市發(fā)展，24fall申請(qǐng)時(shí)改了項(xiàng)目名字叫碳中和城市及可持續(xù)性，學(xué)費(fèi)也漲了，23fall這個(gè)專業(yè)并不火爆，但聽說去年此專業(yè)申請(qǐng)人數(shù)也猛增。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>總體來講，港校確實(shí)會(huì)更卡院校背景這類硬指標(biāo)，并且這種情況目測在逐年升高，相對(duì)來講英國由于院校選擇更多，整體難度增長比較緩慢，所以還是希望有意向留學(xué)的同學(xué)們盡早準(zhǔn)備，盡早申請(qǐng)，越往后形勢可能更嚴(yán)峻。最后希望大家的學(xué)習(xí)和申請(qǐng)都能順順利利！</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em><strong>END</strong></em></p> <p style="color: #444444;">&nbsp;</p> <div class="qrcode-content-wrapper" contenteditable="false"> <div style="position: absolute;
